Product Description: How to Get Started?
FOR THERMOSTATS: 1. Shut off the circuit breaker power supply. 2. Install one wire from the 24 volt adapter to the "C" end, and another wire to the "RC" end. 3. If your system has a cooling system, you may need to use the included diode and connect the "RH" to the "RC" terminal. 4. Plug the power adapter into the socket. 5. Turn on the circuit breaker power supply. 6. Install the panel on the thermostat.
FOR DOORBELLS: 1. Keep the adapter unplugged. 2. Connect the wires from the 24 volt adapter into the terminals of your doorbell unit (any wire can be connected to any terminal). 3. Plug the adapter into an outlet. 4. Put the doorbell face plate on the housing unit. 5. Power up and verify that your doorbell is receiving necessary power using the accompanying application.
Why Use This Product? This device allows you to keep your doorbells or thermostats continuously charged. Many older homes or apartments do not have a "C" wire for their current thermostat, and newer devices require a C-wire to power the device. This simple product solves that problem.
